End wheels serve three functions:

1)     covering the end of the track for UL325 compliance when the gate is automated,
2)     assisting the gate to seat effortlessly into the end cup receiver to stabilize the gate in the open and closed positions, and
3)     keep dirt and debris out of the track for smoother operation.

End cups are used to stabilize the gate in the fully open and closed positions AND to provide a positive gate stop to meet safety code for automated gates. Typically 2 are used per gate. For gates that stay closed most of the time only 1 is needed.

Foundation Plates make it easier to level and align the carriages, but are not required.

Galvanized post mount bracket for the large "P" Duragates cantilever carriages.

This bracket will fit around 4" square tubing.
