The Locinox Mobile Demo Van Rolls Into AIDI

 There’s a big difference between seeing gate hardware in a catalog and actually getting your hands on it.

That was the idea behind the Locinox Mobile Demo Van, which stopped at AIDI Headquarters in Bound Brook on September 15, giving the AIDI team and our customers a chance to step inside and experience Locinox gate technology firsthand.

The mobile showroom is a hands-on Locinox product showcase on wheels, featuring working displays that let visitors see, touch, and operate products across the Locinox line. Rather than looking at individual components on a shelf, attendees could see how the hardware functions as part of a complete gate system.

Getting Hands-On with Locinox

Throughout the morning, members of the AIDI team and visiting customers explored the van alongside the Locinox team, getting a closer look at closers, locks, and access control products from the Locinox line.

That included the VENUS motorized gate closer, designed for pedestrian gates and featuring a brushless reversible motor, push-and-go functionality, and multiple arm configurations. The MAGNUS takes a different approach, combining an ADA-compliant motorized gate closer and hinge into a single solution.

The van also offered a closer look at Locinox’s extensive range of hydraulic gate closers, including MAMMOTH, a heavy-duty 180° gate closer and hinge, TIGER, a compact hydraulic closer and hinge, and INTERIO, a concealed built-in hydraulic gate closer.

Beyond closers, customers can explore other components that make up a complete gate system. Locinox’s hardware lineup includes products such as the DINO adjustable bearing hinge, 3DM adjustable ornamental hinge, FIFTYLOCK insert lock system, electromagnetic locking solutions, and a broad range of keeps, drop bolts, and gate accessories.

Access control was also part of the conversation, including newer solutions such as VERA, Locinox’s wireless access control system for insert locks.

More Than Just Products 

The morning was also a great opportunity to bring customers, the AIDI team, and Locinox together in one place.

Just as valuable as the product demonstrations were the conversations around actual applications.

Customers could talk directly with the Locinox team about installation, adjustment, compatibility, and selecting hardware for different types of gates. For the AIDI team, it was another opportunity to expand our product knowledge so we can better help customers put together the right combination of components for their projects.
